Not easy interpretations Problems of religiousness research in contemporary Poland

Abstract
The subject of the article is to indicate the most important difficulties related to the interpretation of the results of research on religion and religiosity. Pointing to the socio-cultural contexts related to the reading of the results of such research, the author characterises three basic interpretative aporias: the aporia of the language and the research tool used, the aporia of the interpretation of religious behaviour, and the aporia related to the intentions of both the researcher conducting the research project and the intentions of the respondent participating in the study.
