Charisms in Church and for Church. Perspectives and dangers

Abstract

Nowadays, the important issue in the Church is welcoming charisms by those who receive them and by the whole community of the faithful. The charisms are where the mercy and grace, that provide the apostolic vitality and the holiness of the entire Church, appear. One should always try to recognise the charism properly. The diversity of charismatic gifts in the Church community contributes to widen the Gospels to the world. However; the Church, in its wisdom, reflecting on charisms, determines the rules on recognising the genuineness of the charism due to avoid overinterpretation of charisms. In order to be able to realise given charisms in the Church, one should consider the necessary of the persistent unit that lets not only gain and extend the knowledge; but also grow in a Christian maturity.
