Abstract

Konstanty Michalski CM (1879–1947) is not considered as a philosopher of nature in philosophical literature. His scientific achievement is usually considered in the context of philosophy of history, reflection on Dante’s philosophy and theology, or studies in the history of medieval philosophy. Meanwhile, K. Michalski was interested in scientific issues from the beginning of his academic path. In this article, I tried to show that in different periods of life he returned to the issues related to the philosophy of nature. He was not a systematic philosopher of nature, although he was interested in many problems around the nature (and especially in the field of the history of philosophy of nature), which he expressed in various publications, some of which are discussed in this article.
