Deanery of Konin at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries (1750-1850)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Konin deanery was one of the older deaneries in the Gniezno archdeaconry of the Gniezno archdiocese, which at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries was transferred to the Kuyavian-Kalisz diocese, subordinated to the Kalisz consistory. To present the deanery, basic data on the number of parishes, priests and faithful were used, as well as additional calculated data: number of priests per parish and the faithful per priest. These data were included in 16 time intervals. The source material for the study were documents from the visitation of the Archdiocese of Gniezno, as well as diagrams of the Archdiocese of Gniezno and the Diocese of Kujawy-Kaliska.
