The spiritual direction in the practice of Blesssed Dorothy from Great Montau

Abstract
In the analysis of the practice of spiritual direction of Blessed Dorothy from Great Montau, two research areas were distinguished: I. passive direction and II. active direction. The Blessed One’s smooth transition from the first to the second type of leadership was emphasized, thanks to the systematic practice of the virtues of humility and obedience, as well as the multiplicity of types of leadership within both levels. It was demonstrated: 1) the superiority of the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit over that undertaken by people; 2) the charismatic nature of the Blessed One’s spiritual leadership, constituting the basis for the implementation of her mission in the Roman Catholic Church; 3) intercessory profile of Dorothyan’s spiritual direction; 4) teacher’s (doctoral) aspect of spiritual guidance 5) religious value; 6) the value of high effectiveness of direction undertaken by the Blessed One; 7) the need to intensify Dorothyan’s research and organizational and legal activities in order to announce the Blessed/St. Dorota from Great Montau, the doctor of the Church and patroness of Europe, in the face of the need to intercede before the Triune God to save Europe and the Latin civilization from annihilation.
