Abstract

This article is an attempt to approximate some of the para-mystic phenomena described in the pages of The Life of Saint Catherine from Siena by blessed Rajmund of Capua. Among the many extraordinary phenomena described on the pages of the above-mentioned work, the following phenomena of the para-mystic order were selected: a supernatural ability to read, a vision of mystical marriage with Christ, a vision of handing the crown of thorns and the adoption of a beverage from the side of the Savior and associated with the vision grace to abstain from food (inedia).
