Rev. Henryk Hlebowicz a professor of the Wilno University and a charismatic clergyman of the academical environment in Wilno before II world war is one of 108 Martyrs beatified in 1999 by John Paul II, the Pope. His uncommon struggle for Christian culture as an academician and a clergyman was crowned with his martyr death in Borysow on November 9th , 1941 when he was executed by the Nazi police. This publication, bringing near this person, shows features of his spirituality, which inspired his all service as a priest. It was, in fact, a process of maturation to making a sacrifice of his life.
