Abstract

In this article, the autor noted the scientific achievements of Fr. prof. Ireneusz Werbiński expressing himself in the works he promoted and reviewed. He promoted 175 master’s, diploma and bachelor’s theses at 5 universities. He promoted his doctoral dissertations 13 at three universities. Which gives 188 works in total. He reviewed 66 doctorates and 3 nostrification, which gives 69. In addition, he reviewed 18 habilitation and in addition was a member of the committee in two cases, 20 in total. His reviews confirmed 3 titles of associate professor and 12 titles of professor of theology, in addition, he reviewed 4 scientific institutions. Which gives 39 reviews, and together gives 108 reviews reviewed.

Based on these works, it can be said that when undertaking scientific work, he dealt primarily with theology of spirituality, noting its basic elements: spirituality, living according to spiritual patterns, as well as holiness and saints. In his work, however, he did not shun related fields of science, i.e. church history and patristics, dogmatic theology, religious studies, canon law, pastoral theology, homiletics, catechetics and pedagogy, theology of marriage and family, orthodox theology. In many promoted and reviewed papers, he also discussed issues arising from psychology.

In the above article, the author has signaled only the basic directions of the scientific work Professor’s, hoping that his students will undertake further work on bringing closer the scientific work of their master. Especially in the perspective of the scientific development of individuals who write at school, Fr. prof. I. Werbiński.
